About our story
Software Development with a UX-First Approach
We have officially become a full-cycle software engineering partner, handling all product needs from end to end under a unified UX-first approach. This year, our focus is on bringing you in as our next client, applying our five years of B2B experience to deliver the same outstanding business results for your product.
B2B Software Engineering & Modernization
A massive milestone hit this year when one of our clients raised a $21M Series A round using our product design. With our team expanding to 39 specialists, we shifted our public focus to software development, moving beyond early-stage startups to master complex legacy system modernization and heavy B2B engineering.
Process Optimization & Scale
This year was defined by the rapid growth of the UITOP development department as we moved into significantly larger, more complex engineering projects. To handle this scale, we fully optimized our internal processes and workflows, building a reliable service delivery system that ensures seamless execution and predictable results for our clients.
Positioning & Growth
We officially established ourselves as a vertical product design agency for B2B software, while scaling our capabilities with our first major development project for a 4-engineer team. This focus paid off: the complex UX/UI systems we designed helped our clients raise massive funding, with seed rounds averaging $3.8M.
First Breakthrough
UITOP's first major contract this year became a massive turning point, proving we could handle heavy enterprise requirements. Delivering this project successfully led to a key referral to Fractal Software VC, opening doors to B2B vertical startups that needed us to design and optimize complex SaaS interfaces.
Launch
Ivan Klyzhenko launched the agency in May 2021, bringing together a core team of 5 people to grow as a design agency on Upwork. By focusing entirely on high-quality delivery and client referrals, we quickly secured our first successful projects and laid the foundation for organic growth.
