Slipwise asked Uitop to help create an easy-to-use platform from scratch, focused on simplifying complex navigation and optimizing the user experience. The goal was to reduce the time marina managers spend on daily tasks while maximizing functionality, particularly in a niche market with few specialized digital solutions.
Uitop combined an advanced research approach with potential customers' interviews to identify key pain points of the industry. This led to creating an intuitive, flexible solution with a modern interface that solves problems no one software has solved before. The software got positive feedback from Fractal Software VC and pre-customers.
Project Brief
Slipwise is a SaaS platform oriented to solve the marina industry challenges in boat management and maintenance processes. The main goal of the design project was to build a scalable design from scratch, balancing complex functionality with intuitive business logic, even for non-technical users. The core features are tracking, contract management, and task assignment. It empowers marina managers by centralizing operations and enhancing productivity.
Dashboard
Problem
Similar platforms often have complex dashboards, poor customization, and difficulty integrating different data sources. They also struggle with performance visualization and limited mobile access, making it hard to track occupancy and manage contracts efficiently.
Solution
Uitop designed the dashboard that focuses on real-time marina status and detailed contract management, enhancing usability and visibility. This improved decision-making, streamlined operations, and provided better access across devices.
Contract Management

Dockwalk
Problem
Marina teams used to rely on manual note-taking during dockwalks. This guarantees missing critical issues or delayed follow-ups. Often reports lake consistency and make it hard to track the current state of the fleet.
Solution
Dockwalk feature allows staff to check and confirm spot statuses in few clicks on a single screen. The desktop version for managers provides clear overview of detailed reports to ensure that nothing is missed.
